'A Sussex Oak'

An original painting based on a trip to Sussex last September. This view was on my regular walk. There was something so quiet about an ancient oak tree standing in the middle of a field, under such a big sky, with the moon above. So solid and steadfast.

Painted on handmade cotton rag paper, A4 in size.
